Having used J. Young & Sons funeral directors for both my parents funerals, the latter being in March 2022, I can definitely state that their service is outstanding. They are Caring, Compassionate and possibly most important, are Contactable. Jackie is available whenever you need her and gives sound advice to assist with full arrangements at a time that can be most distressing to relatives. Having discussed our needs, Jackie sorted everything with apparent ease, keeping us fully updated whenever required. On the day of the funeral, her staff were polite and courteous in dealing with us and everything ran smoothly. At a time when you need as much assistance as possible I don’t believe anybody else could have provided us with better service. Thankyou.

Thank you to Jackie and her team. They provided excellent support and service for our dads funeral. It made an extremely tough day so much easier for my mum, they explained everything and made sure everything ran smoothly. They take the time to talk through everything and make sure all the details are perfect, very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend.

Thank you so much for all Your help throughout this very difficult time. You made it so much easier for us all n mum looked beautiful at her viewing in your chapel. The Whole service was perfect from walking with her down the street to arriving at the crematorium we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Dear Jackie, I would like to thank you for the brilliant service you provided for mum's funeral yesterday. It is a hard time for all with covid putting restrictions on both us and you but all the family were happy with what you helped us achieve. Could you please pass on my thanks to your colleagues that attended for their superb professionalism. It was exceptionally touching to see mum being walked up the drive way to her final resting place, causing a few tears. I will highly recommend your services to others and am extremely happy to have chosen you. Thank you for all your help during our difficult time.

Fantastic service by all the team. Jackie has been a power of strength to my family during the loss of my mother-in-law. Very patient and understanding. Always there for us. A big thanks to James and Liz who made the funeral run smooth and dignified during COVID restrictions. Highly recommend.

Having worked with Jackie as a celebrant, I was pleased that she was able to take care of my mum and dad when they both passed away last month. The day of their joint funeral came and I knew that the proceedings would be conducted with great professionalism and care, and I was not disappointed. This was a first class personnel and professional service, J Young & Son carried this cremation out extremely well, it was orderly, precise and well thought out and all the staff involved were excellent and very respectful from start to finish and we could not have wished for better. We were told what to expect from the start and Jacky was empathetic and precise with everything she said to us. We would like to say thank you so much for making this sad occasion so calm and serene and without any hassle. It was also less stressful and we had time to grieve on the day. We had never had a cremation to arrange before in the family, but this was made to be less heart wrenching than we thought. Rest in Peace, God Bless till we meet again Carl. Thank you all so much..
